A. COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES

Toshiba warranty policy includes complimentary local courier pick-up and delivery from anywhere within metropolitan Sydney. This service is provided by ABC Couriers and is organised through us.

This is a complimentary service that Lapy King offers to its customers through the Australia Post network.  Customers can use our Reply Paid account free of charge as per the instructions detailed HERE (or HERE for third party extended warranty).

B. PAID COURIER SERVICES

We use Australia Post eParcel service to pick up or return laptops from/to anywhere in Australia. Once organised, we would send you a confirmation email with a tracking number. You could then track progress of your parcel by visiting http://auspost.com.au/track/ and entering your tracking number (but please allow 12 to 36 hours for Australia Post to scan your parcel into their tracking system).  The fee for this service is a flat one-way fee of $25.

We use Mail Call for same day courier service (if booked with us before 3 pm) within Sydney’s metropolitan area. The fee for this service is a flat one-way fee of $25.

FAQ

What time would the courier arrive to my place?

We cannot predict the exact time that the courier will arrive at your address. Our courier service providers require that you (or someone you trust) be present at the pick up or delivery address for a minimum of 4 hours. It is not possible for the driver to phone you prior to arrival at your address so please ensure adherence to the above requirement for a successful collection or return at the first attempt. Whenever possible we suggest you use a work address.

What if I am not home to receive the delivery?

In the event that no one is at the delivery address to sign for the returned laptop, Australia Post will leave a collection card and return the laptop to the nearest Australia Post outlet for your collection within 5 business days on presentation of a valid ID. However, other providers require that someone is at the nominated address. Parcels would not be left at the address if no one is at the address as signature is required as proof of delivery.

Does your paid courier service include insurance?

Our paid courier service does not include transit cover insurance unless this extra option is specifically selected. The transit cover insurance cost is calculated at $1.80 per $100 of covered value.  Note that we are not responsible for lost or damaged parcels, including but not limited to consequential loss.

How do I pack my laptop for the transit journey?

Please view our Packing Instructions for detailed information on how to pack your laptop for safe courier transportation. It is your responsibility to sufficiently package your laptop to avoid the risk of any damage. Please note that we are not liable for any loss or damage caused during courier transportation (including but not limited to consequential loss). You accept all risks by using any of our courier services.
